interior design

e bartin home is well-versed in (and enjoys!) many decorating styles, from traditional to rustic to mid-century modern to 21st century modern, so there's never -- never! -- a cookie cutter approach.  EB believes the space should reflect the owner, not the designer.

When given a free hand, EB does have the greatest heart for looks that are clean and contemporary, but always respecting the "bones" of the space, and always with a nod to classic design. This signature style, combined with a true flair for the eclectic and unexpected, results in spaces that are stylish and singular in their personalities -- ones that are filled with contrast but never conflict, ones that both surprise and delight and soothe and calm the senses.

In fact, Evelyn revels in the unexpected – her trademark is a fearless and unique blending of seemingly discordant objects and textures, colors and plays of light. Perhaps a period French table with a primitive American pie safe with an ultra-modern light fixture from Milano, all against an accent wall of deep purple and bronze?

It's all good!
